War Room has started: a united front within the Kingdom
ORANJESTAD – The Police Force announces the “War Room” project, a strategic initiative officially launched within our Kingdom in Curacao under the leadership of the coordinator of the Inter-Island Information Coordination Platform (IICP).
In this unique pilot project, all five police forces of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the RST, the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee (KMar), and the Coast Guard are joining forces to combat transnational crime.
The War Room is a center where information specialists and analysts work together intensively for two weeks. The goal is to identify criminal networks operating within the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
The collected information forms the basis for interventions or criminal investigations. The War Room marks an essential step toward structural and long-term collaboration in the fight against crime that is undermining our society.
Chief Commissioner Ramon Arnhem expressed great appreciation for the organization and participants of the War Room. “It is our regional priority, together with the College of Police Chiefs, to exchange information effectively within the Kingdom. The War Room is a beautiful outcome of that,” said Chief Commissioner Arnhem.
