Trade mission to Suriname; exploration of commercial possibilities
ORANJESTAD - After the successful Trade Mission in Colombia, the Investment Summit in the Netherlands, and the Virtual Business Matchmaking with Venezuela, the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Communications and Sustainable Development, together with the Chamber of Commerce of Aruba (KVK), the Department of Economic Affairs, Commerce and Industry (DEACI) and the Aruba Trade & Industry (ATIA), a Trade Mission to Suriname will soon be organized from June 24 to 28.
The purpose of this trade mission is to explore commercial opportunities with Suriname.
Suriname is known for, among others, its oil exports, gold, metals, timber, and building materials. It makes Suriname interesting for Aruban entrepreneurs to explore the various commercial opportunities there. Aruban entrepreneurs can see the Surinamese market as an opportunity to grow and expand their products and services. It will provide local consumers access to high-quality products and potentially more affordable prices.
A Surinamese delegation was already on a working visit to Aruba, where they assessed the possibilities of trade between the countries.
Entrepreneurs interested in the Trade Mission in Suriname are welcome to register for an information session that will take place on Thursday, May 23, at the DEACI. Registration is possible via www.surveymonkey.com/r/SurinameTM.
