The PDG Course at IPA is Back!
ORANJESTAD - Registration for the Pedagogical Didactic Certification (PDG) course at the Instituto Pedagogico Arubano (IPA) is open.
PDG is a part-time course for professionals who want to become qualified as educators in secondary and higher education.
Are you or someone you know ready for a career change? Have you always aspired to contribute to education? Are you passionate and interested in working with and supporting the development of children and young people? The PDG course at IPA is where you need to be!

- The PDG course has a total duration of 24 months but with a personalized option to complete it in 18 months!
- The program promotes an intensive learning approach focused on ‘deep learning, with attention and time for practical, hands-on experience.
- The team is dynamic and prioritizes professional and personal development for each participant.
Who can apply for this course:
- Teachers working without certification in secondary education, such as EPI and MAVO;
- Professionals from other fields, including companies or non-educational institutions eager to learn more about teaching and who want to advance their pedagogical-didactic knowledge and abilities. This set of professionals must have a PDG to work as teachers.
The minimum requirement to enroll in the PDG course is an HBO (Higher Professional Education) diploma.
