The executive director at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) gave a presentation to the Central Bank of Aruba

ORANJESTAD – Dr. Paul Hilbers, executive director at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), recently gave a presentation to the Central Bank of Aruba.

In his presentation, he indicated the IMF evaluations of Aruba are of significant importance and that the results are positive, but he also shared some points to consider.

When making long-term decisions, it is critical to consider climate change risks and the diversification of the economy. The financial topic of a country is not only the monetary aspect but is much more than that.

On the same day, Mr. Hilbers met with the Council of Ministers, where he gave IMF’s vision of Aruba’s development. During this event, Mr. Hilbers indicated that Aruba has a positive and impressive growth.
