The Chief Electoral College Aruba calls on interested parties to work as polling station members at the polling stations.
ORANJESTAD - On December 6, 2024, Aruba will elect its members of parliament. For this reason, the Chief Electoral College (Hoofdstembureau) informs that persons interested in working at the polling station as a polling station member on that day may now apply.
According to Article 37 of the Electoral Ordinance, an electoral member must be a person entitled to vote, which means:
- He or she must have Dutch nationality;
- must have registered with the Civil Registry before September 18, 2024;
- and must be 18 or older on the day of the election.
For the polling station’s chairman and deputy chairman, we invite people in education, other professionals, or people with extensive experience in this position.
Interested parties can send an email to afspraken@censo.aw with the following information:
- Surname and first name;
- date of birth;
- and mention the polling station where they once worked, if applicable.
Every accepted applicant will be informed in writing as soon as possible.
