The Aruba Mural Festival project, Fundacion Artisa, and TPEF are part of Art Week.
ORANJESTAD - On August 22, the Ministry of Tourism and Public Health announced the agreement signed between Fundacion Artisa, sr. Tito Bolivar, and TPEF (Tourism Product Enhancement Fund).
This agreement is to finance the project of the Aruba Mural Festival, which is part of Art Week.
Since 2018, the ministry has provided financial support to the highly successful projects of the Artisa Foundation. Developments and events in San Nicolas are always a priority to continue transforming into a cultural city, known as the art capital in the Caribbean. The goal has always been for San Nicolas to be a city with great potential that attracts visitors and creates more traffic and opportunities in the tourism sector.
Different projects and events for San Nicolas are going on:
- Baby Beach phases 1 and 2 have been delivered, and phase 3 will soon begin.
- Project to beautify and organize Rodgers Beach;’Rodgers Beach stairwell renovation;
- Reopening of the ATA Visitor Information Center;
- Attraction tours for art and murals;
- Island Festival for tourists and locals to visit Pariba di Brug and enjoy authentic food and local music.
The partnership of TPEF with Fundacion Artisa is significant, as TPEF's funds finance different projects such as beautification, awareness, and projects for culture and art.
Minister of Tourism and Public Health,Dangui Oduber is pleased with projects that attract and promote San Nicolas. Different events in Art Week will take place in the week of September 2 to 8, which are the Aruba mural festival, Art Table, Art Talk, Art Fashion, and Art Fair.
