Temporary Change at Oranjestad Port Access

For this reason, Gate 7 will be temporarily closed.

APA requests that all port users take into account the following changes regarding access to the port of Oranjestad and the APA main office:

• Between April 22 and May 23, 2025, asphalting will take place.

Access to the port of Oranjestad:

• On days with no cruise ships in port, access to the port of Oranjestad will continue as usual at Gate 4.
• On days with cruise ships, access to the port of Oranjestad will be via Gate 9 at the Wendy’s/Harbor Arena roundabout. This gate will remain open during the hours that the cruise ship is in port. They will redirect traffic via Gate 8 for access to the port of Oranjestad. Access to the port of Oranjestad is limited to people with a badge and vehicles with valid car passes from APA and authorities. Please consider the traffic of construction equipment that will also use Gate 9.

Access to the main office of APA:

• Access to the main APA office will continue via Gate 9 (at the roundabout of Wendy’s/Harbor Arena). This gate will remain open during office hours, with security personnel present. Traffic is via the former Free Zone gate to the temporary parking area (which will have signs). Please note that the construction equipment will use the same route.

Please note that APA may adjust the information mentioned here during the mentioned period. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this temporary change and thank in advance all employees, authorities, and other users of the port of Oranjestad for their understanding and cooperation.

Please follow all signs and instructions from security personnel to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow during this period.
