Telefon pa Hubentud and the Pan American Development Foundation produced the film My Story.

ORANJESTAD – On Friday, June 28, 2024, the short film My Story premiere took place in a packed house at Gloria Theater.

Telefon pa Hubentud 131, together with the Pan American Development Foundation (PADF), produced the short film My Story, in which young people of different nationalities share a day in their lives, allowing them to learn from each other, understand each other better, and thus foster more tolerance, respect, and empathy. Additionally, as part of the My Story project, there was an exhibition of artwork where young people of different nationalities movingly expressed themselves.

Prime Minister Evelyn Wever-Croes attended the premiere and was impressed and mentioned that it was a collection of impactful artworks that reflected the feelings and the immense talent that reigns among young people.

The world is diverse, with many nationalities, and Aruba is a testament to that. My Story is a project highlighting the importance of acceptance and respect for each other. The young people, both local and international, came together to learn from each other and grow together. They inspire others and demonstrate that regardless of where they come from, they can work hand in hand for a better future. The young people came from different parts of the world and cultures but discovered strength in their differences and wrote a new story of unity and love. They are an example for all of Aruba, demonstrating that they have the power to overcome the differences that separate them. Diversity is not an obstacle but rather a strength.

The Prime Minister thanks everyone who contributed to the success of My Story. This work gives hope and is an example for other countries.
