Successful Virtual Business Matchmaking between Aruba and Venezuela
ORANJESTAD - On Thursday, November 9, 2023, the Virtual Business Matchmaking took place for entrepreneurs from Aruba and Venezuela at the Chamber of Commerce and virtually via Zoom.
The Virtual Business Matchmaking was a collaboration between the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Communication, and Sustainable Development and the Chamber of Commerce Aruba (KvK).
The government aims to focus more on establishing and strengthening commercial ties with our neighboring countries, for which trade with Venezuela represents a significant opportunity. It encourages and facilitates business transactions between Aruba and Venezuela, as consumers can benefit from better prices and a greater variety of products.
Entrepreneurs from both Aruba and Venezuela showed great interest in Virtual Business Matchmaking. Over 60 companies from Aruba and more than 100 companies from Venezuela are participating in the matchmaking event, which will help identify possible bottlenecks to facilitate more trade between Aruba and Venezuela in the coming times.
