Spirit of Discovery makes historic call to Aruba.

ORANJESTAD - Recently, the luxurious cruise ship Spirit of Discovery, operated by Saga Cruises, made its first historic call to Aruba.

As per tradition, this visit was celebrated with a traditional plaque exchange ceremony, marking the official visit to our beautiful island.

Monica Bos – Cruise Manager of the Aruba Tourism Authority (ATA), Mario Arends – Chief Commercial Officer of the Aruba Ports Authority (APA), and members of Caribbean Port Agencies, who assisted in facilitating the cruise ship's visit attended the ceremony.
The captain of the Spirit of Discovery personally presented a commemorative plaque to the representatives of ATA and APA. Likewise, Aruba's representatives each presented a commemorative plaque to the captain as a gesture of appreciation and to celebrate the partnership. This ceremony highlights the importance of maintaining strong relationships between cruise lines and destinations, promoting tourism, and creating unforgettable experiences for passengers and crew members.
