Special Mosaic Artwork at the National Library

ORANJESTAD - Recently, the Director of the National Library of Aruba, Mrs. Astrid Britten, requested the artist, Mrs. Omaira Silva, to create an artwork for the library's garden.
The request was to design a unique piece about our typical flora and fauna for the BNA garden. Mrs. Silva created a mosaic artwork and completed it with pride.
Mrs. Omaira is well-known for her mural art in Aruba. She has worked in places such as Paseo Herencia, murals in San Nicolas during the Aruba Art Fair, Costa Linda, Eagle Beach playground, and her studio in Ponton.
The National Library of Aruba is pleased with Mrs. Omaira Silva's artwork for the library. This artwork is part of the "Hofi Joy" behind the main building in Oranjestad.
