School Competition Photography and Dance Aruba, our Pride

They also will distribute educational material about the history and significance of our national anthem and flag to preschool and primary schools. 

The Ministry of Culture and the CCDN will organize a photography and dance competition for all preschool and primary schools this year. They invite preschool and primary schools to participate and showcase the talent and creativity of their students to win prizes for their classes. 

School Photography Competition: 
To participate, students must take photos of something that makes them proud with a short explanation of why it makes them feel this way. They must take the photo horizontally with a mobile phone or camera. The school will select the best photo to send to the National Holidays Commission via email at CCDN@cultura.aw. The deadline is March 14 at noon. There will be one winner for preschools and one for primary schools. The prize is a gift voucher worth 350 florins for the winning class. 

School Dance Competition:
Classes of primary schools can submit a video of a creative dance to the music of the jingle Aruba, our Pride. They must record the video horizontally and email it to CCDN@cultura.aw by March 14 at noon. The competition has two categories: classes 1-3 and classes 4-6. Classes 4-6 winner will present their dance during the cultural event on March 17th at the Betico Croes Plaza. The grand prize is a gift voucher worth 750 florins.
