Research "What Do We Eat?"
ORANJESTAD – Starting on March 24, 2025, the Department of Public Health (DVG), in collaboration with CBS, IBISA, and WEB Aruba NV, will launch an essential research study called What Do We Eat?
For this study, 500 people in our community will receive a visit from a surveyor at their home. During these visits, the surveyor will ask several questions related to daily nutrition, such as:
- What do you eat?
- How much do you eat?
- At what time do you eat?
- And other related questions.
This study aims to identify the most consumed foods and products in Aruba and analyze their relationship with chronic diseases such as cancer, diabetes, and obesity.
If you receive a letter at home inviting you to participate in the study What Do We Eat?, do not hesitate to participate!
Your contribution is a valuable step toward improving our well-being and public health.
