Registration to apply for Police Officer

ORANJESTAD - The Aruba Police Force announces that applications are open to become a police officer. 

Police work is a calling and a responsibility to your country. Are you a dynamic, responsible person who wants to become a police officer? If your answer is yes, apply to serve your country,apply to become a police officer.

From March 5, 2025, to March 27, 2025, between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM, you must visit the E.J. Watty Vos Police Academy at Fortheuvelstraat 25, San Nicolas, to register in person. Please note that registration is only available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. You are NOT allowed to wear flip-flops, tank tops, or inappropriate clothing. You are applying for a job, so proper attire is required.

You must appear in person to fill out the registration form and bring the following required documents:

  • 1 passport photo;
  • Copy of diploma and transcript;
  • Copy of identification card;
  • Copy of AZV card,;
  • Extract of the Civil registry/Censo (cost: AWG 5.00).

Requirements:

  • Dutch nationality,
  • Registered and residing in Aruba,
  • Minimum age of 17, maximum age of 34,
  • Minimum height of 1.60 meters,
  • MAVO diploma or equivalent.

After submitting your application, KPA will call you to undergo various tests. These tests include:

  • Intelligence test;
  • Dutch language test;
  • Sports test, consisting of:
    a.    Physical fitness assessment;
    b.    50-meter sprint;
    c.    Strength test: push-ups - plank - hanging hold - back extension;
    d.    Obstacle course;
    e.    Endurance test.
  • General background investigation on the applicant;
  • Psychological test;
  • Medical examination;
  • Interview.
