Quota Club gives informative sessions at School during the Carnival Season

ORANJESTAD—On Tuesday, January 28, 2025, Prime Minister Evelyn Wever-Croes, members of the Quota Club, President Juliska Harms, and Mrs. Gwen Van Trigt-Rojer visited Sint Dominicus College.

They were joined by Mr. Glenn Rock of WEB Aruba NV to inform the children about the importance of protecting their hearing, especially during the Carnival season.
The Quota Club’s sessions are a long-standing tradition aimed at raising children's awareness of the importance of using "earplugs" during Carnival events, where loud music can harm their hearing.

The Quota Club thanks the Sint Dominicus College administration for allowing them to deliver this important session to the students. The children were highly interested in the topic and well-informed.

Carnival is a much-loved period for our community. However, it is essential that the community, especially our children, enjoy this wonderful season responsibly and healthily while protecting their hearing. Our hearing connects us to the rest of the world, and it’s crucial not to lose it, particularly at a young age.
