Prime Minister handed over the 2024 Annual Report of her ministry to the National Library.
ORANJESTAD – On March 24, 2025, outgoing Prime Minister Evelyn Wever-Croes handed over the Ministry of General Affairs and Infrastructure to the National Library 2024 annual report.
Every year, the Prime Minister compiles the annual report together with the heads of the departments under her ministry. This report includes her ministry achievements, the challenges faced, what the government has not been able to achieve, and how they will work to achieve these goals.
The first report was created in 2018, and since then, it has been done every year and made accessible to the community. Additionally, each year a copy of the annual report is handed over to the National Library, where it is placed in the Arubianita department to become part of our history. This becomes part of the archives at the National Library.
In the report, one can learn what the government has done during the world's largest pandemic in recent decades, namely COVID-19, and all the challenges and negotiations with the Netherlands regarding this, the crisis with Venezuela, and the crisis when the United States changed government.
