Prime Minister attends the installation of the new President of Panama

ORANJESTAD - Prime Minister Evelyn Wever-Croes has traveled to Panama to attend the presidential inauguration ceremony in Panama. 

The transfer of power between the outgoing president, Mr. Laurentino Cortizo, and the new president, Mr. José Raúl Mulino, will take place on Monday, July 1, 2024, in the capital of Panama, Panama City. The Prime Minister is attending this handover on behalf of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Aruba, along with several other Heads of State.

Upon her arrival in Panama on Sunday, the Prime Minister, at the invitation of the outgoing president, Mr. Cortizo, attended the farewell dinner. On Monday evening, the Prime Minister will meet with the private sector of Panama to further strengthen relations with Panama and encourage them to do business with Aruba, thereby creating more opportunities for the development of our country.
