President of Suriname Chan Santokhi and the First Lady arrive in Aruba.
ORANJESTAD - On October 21, 2024, President Chan Santokhi, his wife, First Lady, and President of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Albert Ramdin, arrived in Aruba on a flight from Surinam Airways.
When they arrived, Prime Minister Evelyn Wever-Croes and the police force's guard of honor welcomed them with the anthems of Aruba, the Netherlands, and Suriname.
The Prime Minister accompanied President Santokhi and his wife to their hotel, where they will stay awaiting the start of their program. The program includes a visit to the Governor of Aruba, a meeting with the Parliament of Aruba, with the Council of Ministers of Aruba, and a meeting with the business community.
President Santokhi and his wife will enjoy a dinner accompanied by Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Affairs, Communications, and Sustainable Development Geoffrey Wever at the end of the day.
