Nine Teachers Celebrate Their anniversary at EPI

ORANJESTAD – On Friday, February 14, 2025, outgoing Prime Minister Evelyn Wever-Croes attended EPI to celebrate the anniversary of nine teachers at EPI for between 25 and 45 years, collectively accumulating a total of 280 years of experience.

The Prime Minister took the opportunity to thank each of these teachers for their years of dedication to the youth. These educators are not only mentors but also role models, having played a crucial role in the success of their students. Thanks to their dedication and hard work, these students achieved success. Teachers not only guide students but also provide valuable support to parents regarding the professional development of their children. The prime minister also expressed gratitude to EPI for the continuous support they provide to the community in the field of education.

Finally, the Prime Minister referred to the speech by teacher Harrisch Chin Sie Jen, which highlighted how small Aruba is. Mr. Chin Sie Jen was a teacher when the prime minister's spouse and child attended school and was also her mother's colleague. It represents three generations and showcases the extensive experience Mr. Chin Sie Jen has in the field. In addition to being vital, educators' labor is valued and deserves the utmost respect. The work of educators is essential and deserving of the highest respect.
