Medical Screening for DIMAS permit applicants is also available at Urgent Care.

ORANJESTAD - Individuals (immigrants) who have applied for a residence permit in Aruba and have received a ‘Voorlopige Toelating Aruba’ (VTA) from DIMAS must undergo a mandatory medical screening by a doctor approved by the Department of Public Health (DVG).

Previously, one can only do this screening by Medwork doctors, but starting Monday, February 10, 2025, it will also be available at Urgent Care.

Medwork

To schedule an appointment for the medical screening, applicants must visit Medwork in person at Margrietstraat 3, Oranjestad, Monday to Friday between 08:00-12:00 and 13:00-16:00, bringing a valid passport and the ‘Voorlopige Toelating Aruba’ (VTA) form. They must also bring the passport used for their last entry into Aruba. The screening costs Afl. 75.00, payable at the time of booking the appointment. Medwork will provide the forms for the required tests, including the PPD/Mantoux test, chest X-ray, and blood analysis. You must pay the costs for these tests directly to the respective medical institutions where they perform them.
