Lady Ruth presents her first children's book in Papiamento.
ORANJESTAD - On Wednesday, January 15, 2025, Ruthy "Lady Ruth" Vrieswijk-Bergen presented at UNOCA her book " Rene su dushi Wega (Rene's sweet game)"
It is his first children's book in Papiamento and contains songs and poetry.
Lady Ruth is a writer and artist with a long and impressive career. She is a painter who participated in several exhibitions in Aruba and has written and published five volumes in English, Dutch, Spanish, and Papiamento. Ruthy dedicated her life to inspiring, motivating, informing, and bringing joy to the people of Aruba and contributing to Aruba's cultural heritage.
Prime Minister Evelyn Wever-Croes congratulates Lady Ruth on this special occasion and also thanks her for her contribution to the development of children.
