Additionally, Ivan is a jazz guitarist and the first Aruban to integrate the rhythms of Aruban music folklore into contemporary jazz concepts since the 1980s. An example is the compositions of Padu del Caribe and Rufo Wever for piano, for which Ivan arranged to play on guitar. These are innovations of Ivan Jansen that enrich the history of Aruban music.
Furthermore, Ivan has his website, www.ivanjansen.com, where people can listen to his compositions. Along with all this, Ivan entertains thousands of tourists with his music at hotels. It is remarkable how much Ivan loves Aruba and promotes and spreads Aruban music wherever he goes.

Ivan has performed for members of the Dutch Royal Family, has been part of various symphony orchestras, and has performed in numerous local and international concerts.
This documentary was Ivan's dream, which he realized with much confidence and perseverance with the support of Unoca.
Aruba may be small on the map, but it proves that we are great at talent. With this initiative by Ivan, he inspires more people to tell their stories and make a documentary. Thus, we can leave our story for generations to come.
Ivan, congratulations, and thank you very much for elevating our folklore to the highest levels in the field of music.
