IDEA organizes Silver Entrepreneurship workshop
ORANJESTAD – The Department of Economic Affairs, Commerce, and Industry, through its unit Initiative for the Development of Aruban Enterprises (IDEA), is organizing the workshop "Silver Entrepreneurship: for the retired or soon to be retired."
This workshop is intended for retirees or those approaching retirement age (60+) and is part of the Ministry of Economic Affairs' policy to stimulate entrepreneurship.
If you are retired or soon to retire and want to continue using your career and life experience in your own business and are wondering: 'how to start' or 'what to do now,' or if you are already running a business and want to keep it updated with technology and innovation, this is your opportunity.
The topics that will be presented during the two-day workshop include:
- Social Media / Branding – Learn how to brand your product or service on social media.
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) – Explore the world of AI and learn how to apply it to your business.
- Cryptocurrency (Crypto) – Gain a better understanding of digital currencies like Bitcoin and Blockchain data storage technology.
- "Where do we stand and how do we move forward?" – Share experiences and exchange advice with others.
The workshop is free and will take place on April 9 and 10, from 8:30 am to 12:15 pm at the Department of Economic Affairs, Commerce, and Industry, located at Sun Plaza, second floor, room #25. To participate in the workshop, you must be 60 or older and register via email: j.trim@deaci.aw. Space is limited.
