Governor receives Minister of Foreign Affairs of Suriname.

ORANJESTAD - The Governor of Aruba, His Excellency Alfonso Boekhoudt, received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Suriname, Mr. Albert R. Ramdin, on Monday, January 22.

Mr. Ramdin has been Minister of Foreign Affairs since 2020 and was in Aruba for the first time in this capacity.
Discussions were held with the Governor about the mutual relations between Aruba and Suriname and the possibilities available to strengthen cooperation in various areas, including trade.
Minister Ramdin was accompanied during the audience at Cas Ceremonial by the Director of Foreign Affairs, Miriam Mac-Intosh, and the Consul General of Suriname in Curaçao, Christa Zuiverloon. The director of the department of Foreign Relations of Aruba, Jocelyne Croes, was also present at the audience.
