Delegation Aruba Police Force attends a conference of the International Association of Women Police
ORANJESTAD - A delegation consisting of female representatives of the Aruba Police Department participated in the IAWP (International Association of Women Police) Region 26th Conference in the Cayman Islands
Commissioner Mrs. Irma Gordon led the delegation of four female representatives who exchanged information on the topic of women in top positions within essential organizations.
" It is important to have continuous visible and invisible attention to gender equality. It is also still needed, so we will continue to do it! The event is a great opportunity to show that we as the Aruba Corps consider this important and will take steps," were the words of Chief of Police Mr. Ramon Arnhem, who was proud to see that his female colleagues had the opportunity to attend important conferences.
