Children’s book author and Illustrator Mylo Freeman visits Aruba
ORANJESTAD - Mylo Freeman, children’s book author and illustrator, will visit Aruba in February.
Mylo captivates children with her beautiful illustrations and use of color, She will also give demonstrations, and workshops and visit several daycare centers on the island.

Mylo started her career with the book Potty! (published by Gottmer in 1997), which she wrote when her son refused to sit on the potty. Through the story, she tries to convince her son David that the potty was made just for him. This book is in five languages: Dutch, English, Danish, Hebrew, and Korean.
Mylo pays special attention to the self-worth of dark-skinned children in the Netherlands through the stories of Princess Arabella and her friends.
