After research that began seven years ago into the origins of Aruba's Carnival, Mr. van der Hans completed his two books. The two books contain a sizeable collection of portraits and stories about Aruba's Carnival, including groups, participants, elections, parades, music, bands, spectators, and much more, with thousands of different portraits and pieces of information.

This publication will soon be available to the public. Carnival admirers can include these books in their collection. It is a significant historical document that tells the history of our Carnival and is an enrichment of Aruba's cultural heritage.
