Aruba welcomes the cruise ship, Majestic Princess.

ORANJESTAD - The Aruba Tourism Authority (ATA), the Aruba Ports Authority (APA), and Port Agency Armada welcomed the Majestic Princess of Princess Cruises during its first visit to Aruba.

This visit reinforces Aruba’s ongoing position as a preferred luxury cruise destination in the Caribbean.

ATA, APA, and Port Agency Armada representatives exchanged plaques during an onboard ceremony. This maritime tradition symbolizes goodwill and commemorates a ship’s first visit to a port. Captain Giuseppe Castellano of the Majestic Princess exchanged plaques with Aruba’s tourism representatives.

In March 2017, the Majestic Princess was launched in Shanghai during a ceremony featuring basketball legend Yao Ming and his wife, Ye Li. Their participation represents international elegance and cultural respect, aligning with Princess Cruises' global vision. The ship's Chinese name is 盛世公主号 (Shèng Shì Gōng Zhǔ Hào).

The ship can accommodate 3,560 guests in 1,780 cabins, has a crew of 1,346, is 330 meters long, 68 meters high, and features 19 decks.
As part of Carnival Corporation, Princess Cruises is committed to sustainability within the cruise industry.
