Aruba Tourism Authority reaffirms its commitment to the Cultural and Creative Industry.

This is an old post.

ORANJESTAD - The Aruba Tourism Authority (A.T.A.) reaffirms its commitment to the growth and empowerment of Aruba’s cultural and creative industry with support from the CreActivo Conference.

This sector plays an essential role in our identity and the diversification of the tourist offering.
As the organization responsible for the primary pillar of our economy, A.T.A. recognizes that, in addition to tourism, the cultural and creative industry is crucial for our country. A.T.A. is committed to supporting the industry by creating a solid foundation to continue to grow, positively impacting the community, and sharing Aruba’s cultural richness with visitors.

A.T.A. emphasizes that the collaboration with the Go Cultura Foundation is more than just a partnership. It is a strategic effort to grow and strengthen the Cultural and Creative Industry, an aspect the A.T.A. focused on for several years. A.T.A. has worked with the Aruba Art Fair, the Brazilian Day Celebration, SMAC (Carnival), the Aruban Museums Foundation (Bon Bini Festival), and local artists, such as for the embellishment of the stairs at Rodger’s Beach with mosaic art and much more. All are events and projects that reaffirm the organization’s commitment to this industry. They enrich Aruba’s cultural landscape and provide a platform for local artists and their creativity to shine. The shared goal of A.T.A. and Go Cultura Foundation is to formalize and develop the cultural and creative sector to continue contributing to Aruba’s sustainable development.

A.T.A. empowers the cultural and creative sector through education and creating an integral data-based strategy. This approach will help guide the industry toward sustainable development and ensure that each step is based on solid evidence.

The CreActivo Conference offers a valuable opportunity for all artists, innovators, and leaders in the industry to develop their unique talents and skills further. A.T.A. invites artists, creators, innovators, and visionaries to attend CreActivo, where they will share and connect through their abilities, creativity, skills, and perspectives. Visit www.gocultura.org for more information on the conference, which will take place on October 8 and 9.
