Aruba Tourism Authority contributes to the creative industry in Aruba.

This is an old post.

ORANJESTAD - Aruba Tourism Authority (A.T.A.), as the main sponsor of CreActivo, supported the Go Cultura Foundation in organizing a conference serving as a platform to unite members in the creative industry.

A.T.A. believes in allocating necessary funds as an impetus to help guide the creative industry according to collective efforts. During the conference, the CEO of A.T.A. Ronella Croes, acknowledged that every industry faces challenges. The tourism industry is no exception, and data and research help to guide the industry into a new era.

Like the travel and tourism sector, the creative one needs to collect data and apply facts and information to bolster the cultural and creative industry program.

A.T.A.'s support includes work with the Go Culture Foundation to map Aruba's creative and cultural sectors through data collection and analysis. It is a significant step forward.

With this, we can identify which areas of the creative economy are flourishing and where more attention is needed. It will enable us to modify the development plan based on compelling data, guaranteeing that our investments are made where they will have the biggest impact.

In the long term, the growth of the creative sector, proven by data, will enrich Aruba's cultural landscape and contribute to sustainable tourism and economic development. In addition to stressing the value of protecting our culture and nurturing local talent, it's critical to consider the significant influence that originality and creativity have on a community's identity.

The Senior Product Specialist of A.T.A. Derchlien Dijkhoff presented the importance and vision of each project. Destination enhancement projects and initiatives are designed to create a balance between the current and future needs of our residents while improving the guest experience and stimulating interaction between locals and guests.

A.T.A. directs its efforts primarily toward supporting and demonstrating real experiences and toward promoting and developing educational opportunities that showcase our culture, flora, and wildlife preservation.

Various local and international speakers contributed immensely to the content and significant information shared at the conference.

A.T.A. thanks and congratulates the Go Culture Foundation for a beautiful initiative aimed at the creative community of Aruba.
