Aruba collaborates with UN-ECLAC to stimulate the Fintech sector
ORANJESTAD - Recently, the government of Aruba signed an agreement with the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (UN-ECLAC).
This collaboration focuses on jointly addressing all aspects to support economic growth, but more specifically on exploring the world of opportunities in Fintech, blockchain technology, and cryptocurrency.
UN-ECLAC supports economic development in Latin America and the Caribbean to strengthen economic relationships between countries and with other nations of the world. The Ministry of Economic Affairs, Communication, and Sustainable Development will collaborate with UN-ECLAC to understand the opportunities and challenges in the FinTech sector. UN-ECLAC will conduct detailed research on Aruba's position in the Fintech sector. They will study the risks, opportunities, and impact of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency on our economy. It will help Aruba make informed decisions for more favorable management.
