Aruba celebrates its national holiday on March 18

ORANJESTAD - On March 18, Aruba celebrates its national holiday, the Day of the Flag and Anthem.

The activities begin on Sunday, March 17, at six o'clock in the evening at Plaza Betico Croes. Various stalls on the Plaza will Aruban food and snacks, crafts articles, books, etc. Aruban musicians and dancers will frame the whole with their performances.

On Monday, March 18, the Dia di Himno y Bandera, the official program starts with a protocol ceremony and parade of uniformed groups at the Plaza Betico Croes at 9 a.m.

Throughout the day, cultural, sports and social activities will take place in all districts of Aruba to celebrate the national holiday.
