ORANJESTAD - Recently, the Organizing Committee of the Excellence in Sports Award met with the Minister of Education and Sports, Mr. Endy Croes, where they presented this year's Excellence in Sports Award event, which will take place in April.

During this gala ceremony, athletes and coaches who excelled the most in their discipline during 2023 will receive an award for their contribution to sports development in our country. Additionally, they will pay tribute to the sports legends who dedicated part of their lives to sports in Aruba. Five Olympic athletes will receive a certificate and pin from the World Olympians Association for their efforts to promote Olympic values.

The Minister of Sports urges all sports federations to submit the names of their nominees on time.
