Swearing-in of newly appointed members of Parliament
ORANJESTAD - On Thursday, January 8, 2025, the swearing-in of the newly-appointed members of the Parliament of Aruba took place in the Parliament room.
Upon arrival, the Governor of Aruba, His Excellency Alfonso Boekhoudt, was welcomed by the acting President of Parliament, Mrs. Shailiny Tromp-Lee, and by the Registry Clerk of the Parliament, Mr. Herman Hek.
After a brief introduction by the President, the Clerk took the floor, and the members of Parliament to be sworn in were called forward individually by name, where they took the oath or promise before Governor Boekhoudt.
