Swearing in of new Aruban cabinet
ORANJESTAD - The ministers of the new cabinet took the oath or made the promise on Friday, March 28, in the presence of the Governor of Aruba, His Excellency Alfonso Boekhoudt.
The obligation for ministers to take the oath or make the promise before accepting their position is included in article II.8 of the Constitution of Aruba.
The new Aruban cabinet is a coalition of AVP and FUTURO and currently consists of six ministers: four from AVP and two from FUTURO. The ceremony took place in Cas Ceremonial di Gobernador.
