Superhero's parade on International Children's Rights Day.
ORANJESTAD - On November 20, 2024, Aruba commemorated International Children's Rights Day.
For this occasion, Liberato Hoek of the Ambulance Service has its traditional Super Heroes Parade.
Its goal is to remind children that superheroes are there to protect children on International Children's Rights Day.
They travel to different schools each year under the direction of Liberato Hoek. The Aruba Police Force, Coast Guard, Imsan, Arumil, CMO, ambulance, and fire department are the superheroes that rule the streets of Aruba with flashing lights and sirens, bringing joy to the children.
The National Security departments come yearly together for this noble cause.
This year, they visited, among others, Scol Duna un Man, Dornasol, Colegio Hilario Angela Montessori, Tarcisuis Kleuterschool, Emma School, and more.
