ORANJESTAD – Prime Minister Evelyn Wever-Croes visited Scol Dun'un Man in Piedra Plat to learn about their winning EduTech project on January 29. 2025.

Scol Dun'un Man received digital boards for each classroom, where students enthusiastically demonstrated the features of these boards and how easily they work with them. The joy on the faces of students and teachers was visible, as this digital technology makes learning much more engaging, easier, and enjoyable.

EduTech is a project that started two and a half years ago, with the government allocating more than 800,000 florins for it. Schools had the opportunity to submit their projects to be eligible to win funding for their implementation. EduTech aims to transform education by providing students with a more interactive, engaging, and innovative learning system.

During the Prime Minister's visit, Scol Dun'un Man inaugurated their Digital Classroom, equipped with various types of innovative technology, thanks to contributions from several sponsors. Through this initiative, students attending the school can enter the digital world and be better prepared for the future. "The way that digital tools are being included in our special children's schooling is fantastic."

For the government, inclusion is crucial, and this project has contributed to the digitalization and inclusion of education in Aruba. Every child should have equal opportunities regardless of the school they go to.
