Rene’s Fun Games
ORANJESTAD - Recently, Ruthy Vrieswijk-Bergen officially presented her new children's book, ‘Rene su dushi wega’ to the National Library’s director Mrs. Astrid Britten. The book tells the story of Rene, who rides his blue bike around the house and plays with different toys. When he's done, he also cleans up after himself. What a good kid!
The library received five copies to share with all children, and one copy will be added to the national collection. ‘Rene su dushi wega’ illustrations were created by visual artist Irene Peterson, and UNOCA subsidized the production. This is ‘Lady Ruth’s’ first children's book in Papiamento.
Ruthy Vrieswijk-Bergen participates in various storytelling projects at the library, for both children and seniors.
