Opening of the Children's Book Festival November 3, 2024
ORANJESTAD - This Sunday at 3.00 p.m., the Children's Book Festival will begin at Cas di Cultura.
Cas di Cultura is hosting a large, joyous, and cost-free event for all kids and their parents. It is a gathering with authors, artists, books, dance, and music from various nations and islands.
You can experience this year's theme, "Dushi Cabesura!"
Princess Amalia Primary School Students, under the direction of Marcie de Jongh, will dance, and children can join in on the dancers' performance of the festival song, sung by Kitai de Jongh. There is also the program "Diamond Kids." The library will present all authors and illustrators who visit more than 50 schools next week.
Rosea Cultural Foundation presents a sketch and dance, whereas Liliana Erasmus and the library director will tell a story. Kylie & Katya perform the song "Coco."
Cas di Cultura opens at 3 pm and starts with a book market. The show begins at 4 o'clock. Every child can bring siblings, friends, and grandparents!
