Online session on the validity of the lists of candidates

ORANJESTAD - The Polling Station Headquarters announces that an online session regarding the validity of the candidate lists submitted on October 18, 2024, will be held in compliance with Article 24, paragraph 2 of the Electoral Ordinance. 

 

The session will take place:

                            Civil Registration and Census  located at Schoolstraat 2 (Hotel Colombia)

This session will decide on the validity of the lists of candidates submitted on October 18, 2024, and on the maintenance of the candidates appearing on the lists according to the rules set out in Articles 25 and 26 of the Electoral Ordinance. If there is no appeal against this decision within two days, the Head Polling Station will number the lists by lot, and if necessary, by lot, assign a color also in an equal session. This will similarly happen on November 13, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. If an appeal is filed with the Courts of Aruba regarding the validity of the lists, the session to assign a number and color will take place no later than Thursday, November 21, 2024.
