OCTAConnects Magazine, an Initiative by Prime Minister Evelyn Wever-Croes.
ORANJESTAD – Last year, on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, during the Overseas Countries and Territories Association (OCTA) conference in Brussels, Prime Minister Evelyn Wever-Croes took over the OCTA Presidency.
Since then, she has actively led the organization with innovative ideas, bringing the 13 member states closer together as a unified organization.
OCTA is an association of overseas countries and territories of the European Union, including Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Saba, Sint Eustatius, Sint Maarten, French Polynesia, New Caledonia, Saint-Barths, Saint-Pierre and Miquelon, TAAF, Wallis and Futuna, and Greenland.
The Prime Minister introduced the OCTAConnects magazine in March 2024 to connect OCTA members and their communities. This magazine has become an essential tool for communication and sharing vital information about the work across the OCTA islands. Although OCTAConnects is still a new magazine, with only three editions so far, the expectation is for it to grow with more information and collaboration from the 13 member states, which are at the heart of OCTAConnects.
You may find more information in the OCTAConnects magazine.
