Invitation to participate in the 'Kidpreneur$ Bazaar' in 2024
ORANJESTAD - The renowned 'Kidpreneur Bazaar 2024' is being held once more by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Communications, and Sustainable Development in collaboration with the Aruban Business Development Initiative (IDEA), a division of the Department of Economic Affairs, Commerce, and Industry (DEZHI).
To acquire knowledge and abilities that will help them become future business owners, the children will join together on this day to sell the products they made to Aruba residents.
This event will be held at Caya Grandi in Oranjestad on Plaza Daniel Leo (behind Zara) on Saturday, November 30, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
There will be a shopping night, a musical performance, and a chance for everyone to 'Buy Local' on Oranjestad's main street while enjoying the Christmas lights and tree. The kids will enjoy face painting, cotton candy, and dinosaur jumping.
If your child is between the ages of 9 and 17 and wishes to sell products such as paintings, art, fruit trees, vegetables or herbs (agriculture), cakes, cookies, sweets, natural juices, or other creative items, contact us at IDEA.
Given that all children who will participate in this event are minors, we have the following requirements for them to participate:
- All children MUST BE ACCOMPANIED by an adult (18 years or older);
- This bazaar is for children from 9 to 17 years;
- Parent(s) must be present at the activity mentioned to keep an eye on their child;
- Each child remains under the responsibility of their parent/guardian on this day;
- Please bring your decorations to decorate the child's table (we will have tables and chairs available);
- Let the children walk with change (exchange money) and let them price their products and to round them to florins(3, 5, or 10 florin, and not 1.20, 5.25, or 9.70 florin).
In addition to the proceedings from the sale of the goods, the goal is for every youngster to acquire adequate information about service, purchase, sale, and money management.
Participation is free, and we invite the people of Aruba to come and support our children and spend a festive evening with family.
