Governor attends protocol ceremony in honor of Dia di Betico.
ORANJESTAD -The Governor of Aruba, His Excellency Alfonso Boekhoudt, attended the protocol ceremony in honor of Dia di Betico at Plaza Libertador G.F. Betico Croes on Saturday, January 25.
After the national anthem was sung, Pastor Toti Fuentebella said a prayer and Prime Minister Evelyna Wever-Croes gave a speech, after which several performances followed, from the recitation of poetry to singing and dancing. As part of the program, floral wreaths were traditionally laid at Betico Croes' monument.
