Frontier Airlines—Atlanta to Aruba.
ORANJESTAD—Aruba Airport Authority N.V. (AAA) announces Frontier Airlines' new nonstop flight connecting Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) with Queen Beatrix International Airport (AUA) in Aruba.
Beginning May 24, 2025, the route will operate once a week on Saturdays through August 16, 2025. It offers travelers a new, convenient option to visit Aruba during the busy summer travel season.
Flight schedule:
- Departing Atlanta (ATL): 10:13 AM → Arriving in Aruba (AUA): 2:20 PM;
- Departing Aruba (AUA): 3:35 PM → Arriving in Atlanta (ATL): 7:55 PM.
The service will be operated with an Airbus A321 aircraft, featuring a seating capacity of 230 passengers. This seasonal route will provide an additional 230 weekly seats between Atlanta and Aruba, boosting capacity during the island’s peak travel period.
Enhanced connectivity between Atlanta and Aruba
The introduction of Frontier’s new service strengthens Aruba’s ties with Atlanta—a key gateway in the southeastern United States. Delta Air Lines currently serves the route with twice-daily nonstop flights (14 times per week). Frontier’s seasonal service increases capacity and provides travelers with more options.
In addition to serving Atlanta, Frontier’s network connects to other major U.S. markets, including New York, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Chicago, and Cleveland—expanding Aruba’s accessibility to a bigger audience.
“We’re excited to welcome a new airline operating from ATL, one of the busiest hubs in the U.S., which enhances connectivity with several large markets,” said Jo-Anne Arends, Aviation Business Development Executive at Aruba Airport Authority. “Frontier becomes the 29th airline to serve Aruba and now offers 16 nonstop routes to the U.S., joining all major American carriers at our airport. These new flights reflect the strong and growing demand from airlines seeking to expand their service to Aruba.”
