For the youth library, five copies of "The Sad Flower"

ORANJESTAD: The youth library will soon lend the story about the sorrowful flower to kids who want to read it.

In addition to one copy for the national collection, author Ariana Koolman-Chirino gave five copies to the library for her Youth Department in Playa and San Nicolas. The date of the presentation was November 1, 2024.

Ariana, a writer and poet, has always enjoyed and engaged in various artistic endeavors, including poetry, painting, music, theater, handicrafts, and more. Before writing children's books, she cultivated her literary, poetic, prose, and haiku skills.

Ariana is the co-author of the book Maraca, the author of the poetry collection Mi bahu di poema, and the creator of her most recent work for our kids, The Sad Flower.

The author debuts this year at the Children's Book Festival with great pride and joy.
