For expansion of your business activities (expansion of an existing business license), you need to apply for a business license at the Department of Economic Affairs & Industry (DEACI). If the new activities are not already recorded in the statute, a change/modification in the statute of the business is required at the notary office before applying for a business license. Positive evaluation by DEACI will be extended if the application for expansion is in direct relation to the company objectives as described in the existing business license.
