ORANJESTAD: Aruba Airport Authority N.V. (AAA) shares the news of Delta Air Lines’ new routes and additional flight frequencies for the upcoming winter season, reinforcing its commitment to providing passengers with more travel options and convenience.

Delta Air Lines’ Largest-Ever Winter Latin Schedule

Delta Air Lines is expanding its winter schedule with significant additions from its hub at Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport (MSP). The airline will reintroduce direct flights to Aruba (AUA) starting December 20, 2024. These direct flights to Aruba will be on Fridays and Sundays from MSP. It marks the return of the MSP-AUA route, last operated in 2018 with a weekly Saturday flight. With the new schedule, Delta Air Lines will amp this up to two weekly flights from MSP, complementing the weekly flights offered on Saturday by Sun Country. In January and February, Sun Country will increase its frequency to three weekly flights (Saturday, Sunday, and Wednesday), resulting in five weekly flights between MSP and AUA.

The winter schedule of Delta Air Lines for this year’s season will include daily flights out of New York (JFK) and will increase with one more flight per week as of January 11, 2025. The Atlanta (ATL) double daily operation will start on December 19, 2024. The daily Boston (BOS) flights will restart their winter service on December 19, 2024. and the two weekly flights on Fridays and Sundays out of MSP will start on December 20, 2024. This will increase seat capacity from 95,705 and 521 flights during the winter season of 2023/2024 to 103,333 seats and 553 flights in the upcoming winter season.

This impressive growth of 8% in seats and 6% in flights further marks the confidence of Delta Air Lines in Aruba as a destination within their worldwide network.
