COA Secretary General and IOC Vice President meet with Prime Minister
ORANJESTAD—Mrs. Nicole Hoevertsz, the Secretary General of the Aruban Olympic Committee, met with Prime Minister Evelyn Wever-Croes on Friday morning, November 8.

Since 2021, Nicole has also been the Vice President of the highest body of world sport, the International Olympic Committee (IOC), and President of the coordinating committee for the LA2028 Olympic Games. During the meeting, Nicole gave the Prime Minister an update on her work at the IOC.
The Prime Minister and Aruba are proud of Nicole's role in putting Aruba on the international map. Apart from that, Nicole also dedicates time to inspiring and training young people in sports, instilling the importance of norms, values, and discipline in sports. Recently, Nicole received the Royal Decoration as Officier in de Orde van Oranje-Nassau for their years of dedication to sport at the national and international levels. Nicole devoted her entire life to sports because she is positive it is beautiful and crucial to create a better world and country.
