Calendar of activities election 2021

The calendar of activities provides a chronological overview of the events in the framework of the elections to be held on June 25, 2021. Below you will find an overview of the actions to be taken.

April 14, 2021 (due to days off in between)	End period to file an appeal on the electoral register (ER)	Art. 11 par. 2 KV Filing of a notice of appeal at the Court of First Instance for additions c.q. improvement of the ER in an electoral year is only possible within 5 days AFTER the closure of ER
April 16, 2021	Public announcement date nomination of candidates/ submission of candidates lists	Art. 16 par. 4 KV
April 23, 2021	Public announcement colors lists by Ministerial Degree of the Prime minister.	Art. 30 par. 2 KV
May 7, 2021	Nomination of candidates/ Submission of candidates lists	Art. 15 KV (09:00/ 16:00) Between the 80th and 90th day before the end of the term of office of the Parliament.
May 10 thru 18 2021	Support (by signing) of candidates lists	Art. 17 par. 2 KV (1 % sum of last vote count (587) for political parties that do not have a seat in the Parliament for 7 days following the Submission of candidates lists)
May 21, 2021	Session Electoral Council to examine candidates lists.	Art. 22 par. 1 KV (On the third day after support period expires)
May 24, 2021	Notification of possible omissions by means of dated receipt. Deadline for the Electoral Council to inform political parties about omissions.	Art. 22 par 2 KV (Day after the examination of the lists session)
May 27, 2021	Deadline for political parties to correct omissions.	Art. 22 par.3 KV (Default must be repaired within three days of notification)
May 28, 2021	Session Electoral Council to decide on the validity of candidates lists and on the acceptance of candidates on these lists. (Must be announced publicly)	Art. 24 par. 1 and 2 KV
June 1, 2021	Expiry of the deadline to file an appeal against the decision of the Electoral Council regarding the validity of the candidates lists.	Art. 27 par. 1 KV
	In case no appeal is filed
June 2, 2021	Numbering of lists and assignment of color by the Electoral Council.	Art. 30 KV (if no appeal is made within 2 days after decision validity, the lists may be numbered the day after in the Numbering of the lists session and must be made public)
June 17, 2021	Last day for receiving a VOTER'S CARD	Art. 38 par. 1 KV At least 8,days before voting day voters will receive a voter notification card (voter card).
June 22, 2021	Public announcement day of the election and content Art. 2:43-2:48 of the Criminal Code	Art. 38 par. 5 KV
June 25, 2021	Voting day	Art. 34 KV (day of voting is determined by National Decree and there should be a period of at least 48 days between the day of Submission of candidates lists and the vote).
June 30, 2021	Determination of election results (10:00 hrs)	Art. 82 KV (5th day following vote).

June 8, 2021	Deadline handling appeal.	Art. 28 par. 1 KV (within 5 days of appeal being received).
June 11, 2021	Final date for decision judge	Art. 29 par. 1 KV (3 days after hearing session).
June 14, 2021	Deadline numbering of lists and assignment of color by the Electoral Council.	Art. 30 KV (once court decision)
June 17 2021	Voters receive voter notification card at least 8 days before voting.	Art. 38 par. 1 KV
June 22, 2021	Public announcement day of the elections and content Art. 2:43-2:48 of the Criminal Code.	Art.38 par. 5 KV
