Aruban Pathways Scholarship, a scholarship program from Valencia College in Orlando
ORANJESTAD – Valencia College in Orlando, Florida, recently announced the Aruban Pathways Scholarship for 2025-2026. The Aruban Pathways Scholarship is a new project of Valencia College that offers a discount of $500 to $1000 per year on the total amount for Valencia College. For the academic year 2025-2026, Valencia College has allocated extra funds to scholarships specifically for Aruban students. Valencia College wants to increase the number of Aruban students by at least 20 for the academic year 2025-2026.
Valencia College in Orlando Florida is popular as it is one of the top community colleges in Florida that can provide Aruban students with admission to recognized universities in Florida that are otherwise difficult to access directly from Aruba.
In addition, Valencia College's tuition fee is 40% lower than that of a state university in Florida and the Aruba loan can finance this.
The requirements for applying for the Aruban Pathways Scholarship are:

- studies full-time at Valencia College,
- start as a new student in 2025 (never attended Valencia College),
- Write an essay answering two questions,
- Submit this together with the application.
The first application deadline for the Aruban Pathways Scholarship is November 17, 2024. The scholarship is awarded for the first year of study at Valencia College.
